In-browser connection test
The full test takes about 20 seconds and uses roughly 20 to 210 MB depending on your speed. The light test measures ping and jitter only (under 1 MB).

What exactly does this test measure?
- It measures from your device to our website server, not to game servers. Your in-game ping depends on where that game's server is.
- A browser test is less precise than the app: the browser adds a little delay, can't send real (ICMP) pings and can't see your connection type. The Pingrift app measures more precisely and to the game servers themselves.
- Every number comes from your own test, right now; nothing is made up. If someone at home uses the internet during the test, the result is affected.
- We don't store your result or your IP address. The test limit lives in memory only and is forgotten after a few minutes.
